The Train Club was formed by a small group of dedicated rail enthusiasts who believed that preserving model railroading requires more than exhibits — it requires active stewardship. What began as conversations among hobbyists who shared a deep respect for the craftsmanship and history of the hobby gradually developed into a structured community committed to supporting TrainTastic’s® mission.
Over time, the club evolved into a vital part of the museum’s ecosystem. Members contribute their time, knowledge, and resources to help maintain layouts, assist with special events, and provide guidance on future expansion projects. More than a social group, the Train Club exists to ensure that the history, engineering, and artistry of model railroading continue to inspire visitors for generations to come.
It takes a village to keep our TrainTastic operations running smoothly! Our museum is powered by a small admission fee, donations and volunteers. We appreciate and welcome all the support we can get on board!
