Field Trips
Fun and educational visits for schools, Daycares, summer camps, churches & more
Our Gulfport Train Museum Field Trips include:
- A brief tour and overview of the museum
- An instructor led activity in our STEAM Shop
- A ride on our outdoor riding train
- 2+ hours to explore our interactive layouts, exhibits and indoor play area
- Outdoor picnic area to eat lunch (weather permitting, sack lunches ONLY)
Minimum group size is 10; maximum is 200. Chaperone ratio may be required.
Rates
- $10 for Students
- $14 for Chaperones
- 2 teachers per class as well as bus drivers will be admitted free of charge

Outreach Programs
Bring the "just train fun" to your school!
Brick Builder Outreach
Includes:
- One LEGO-based Lesson (marble maze, mystery build challenge, etc)
- Dedicated staff member(s)
- Custom build kit for students to build and take home
- All materials and bricks needed for lesson
Rates/Add ons
- $20 for Students per student
- ADD ON: Build Your Own Mini Fig Bar $5 per student
- ADD ON: TrainTastic Conductor Mini Fig $8 per student
S.T.E.M. Outreach
Includes:
- One S.T.E.M. based Lesson (Water Tower or Bridge Engineering)
- Dedicated staff member(s)
- All materials and bricks needed for lesson

- $100 45 minute lesson
- $75 Per class (2 or more classes)

Tykes & Trains
early childhood education program the second tuesday of each month @ 9:30 am
- Early childhood education program for children 4 and under
- $10 for child and their caregiver (Additional children, up to four, $5 each)
- Fun activities that teach early learning skills that can make a difference later in school success.
- Provides caregivers the tools to continue these lessons at home.
Research shows that a child’s IQ can actually be raised by as much as 25 points if they are exposed to a rich learning environment before age 3.
Homeschool STEM Days
"Field Trips" to TrainTastic for homeschoolers at special group rates
Homeschool students are invited every first Wednesday of the month throughout the school year to visit the Gulfport STEAM lab at TrainTastic for an educational activity, tour the museum, explore our interactive exhibits, take a ride on our outdoor train, and visit PlayVille Station with an indoor climber and slides.
